I put my R side +1 higher. Tweeters near the kick panel sounded weird to me when I was testing placement with human subjects and objects placed in the front seat and footwell, which constantly happens (groceries, books, whatever). My highs would constantly sound muffled. I am pleased with my door mounts angled towards me. Some head units offer time alignment that solve staging issues. With a proper head unit (and multi-channel amp with 4 speakers) I think one can achieve a great sounding system in the Z.
